still not sure what model you are referring to that ever showed a triple phase? don't remember seeing that unless it was way out in the Long Range at some point

That patch of blue and green over NW Indiana/SW Michigan is projected LE and I would take it. I'll cross my fingers because it's been a fairly banal winter here so far outside of some cold temps. The one local Met here won't try to call definite totals until later today. I believe that whichever model he follows is conflicting with his gut. His gut seems to think it will end up like Jeffro's post of the NAM projection based on what he's forecast to date. We shall see. At this point, I'll take anything that covers the grass.

CLE mentions the possibility of the southern counties in its forecast zone getting some snow from this. Probably too far south for me though. They also say that NAM is overdone.

actually just saw 12z nam. much weaker. only puts out about an inch now for most spots. came to its senses i guess.

12z GFS more north but almost no precip.

Streets in my area have been brined as of 11am this morning.

I know this is not a WS, but are we doing an OBS thread. Radar is filling in decently along the Ohio River in Cincinnati, but I don't expect to see much IMBY.
