Had some problems with uploads...will try to correct when at home computer...otherwise pics posted currently were taken by videographer George Cumbee during the peak of the flooding at or around May 3 - 7th. Have others that I've taken as well as others that I will post later.

Poor folks. sad.gif

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body.

Rather it should be to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and the Good Book in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO what a ride!"

Amazing...and sad to see those Apolo. Nothing like seeing it up close to bring
it all home to you. So very sorry for everyone there. sad.gif

I tried to insert captions with photos but was not successful. So as you view from top to bottom:

The roadway St. Rte.93 was washed away by poor drainage and will not be reopened until at least July. Picture taken a week ago Wed.

The remaining photos are of the Paducah, Smithland, KY & Metroplois IL. area as well as a few shots of Cario IL and Birds Point Levee. All these locations are within 30 mins to 1 hr from where I currently reside.
