This system is worthy of a thread. No point talking about it in the winter thread. Could be decent for some areas that might get some lake enhancement. Havenít had much snow recently so lets see if we can start to get that snow pack back.

I think it could be. Thereís lots of systems that could be coming up. Pattern looks to turn active IMO.

Definitely a big change. The higher accumulations are creeping toward the GTA now. Could be a decent system.

Snowfall warning from Hamilton to Niagara area now

Snowfall Warning

Issued at 04:38 Monday 29 January 2018
Summary
Snowfall, with total amounts close to 15 cm is expected.

A seemingly benign cold front and associated weak low will arrive over Southern Ontario today. The frontal zone is forecast to become active as moisture combined with sufficient instability will generate an appreciable snowfall. Snow will gradually develop across the Hamilton and Niagara regions throughout the day. The snow will become heavier this afternoon and evening before tapering off overnight.

Snowfall amounts close to 15 cm may be expected in some locales within the warned regions.

Motorists and commuters should plan for challenging road conditions for the Monday evening commute.
