Hey neighbor, how much do you have down there in Hanover? I saw you guys were at 10 inches at like 11 PM last night, so I'm assuming you're well over 15" now? I'm at 12 and counting quickly.

I've got 15" now. I'm waiting for the near blizzard conditions to move in that are being reported from Northern VA to Frederick, MD!

18"? Thats all? Im hearing these HEAVY bands are going to stall out and DUMP snow on lots of these locations for HOURS! Here in MD im told AT LEAST 6 hours of STALLED HEAVY SNOW, dragging this thing out till like 10pm in north east MD. I think some areas cold EASILY see some CRAZY totals if this thng continues at this SLOW pace, if i stalls it could be intense!

Dear God, I hope we don't get more than 18"...because my dad's on the road and I'm going to be shoveling our driveway, sidewalk, and porch by myself. Snowblower's broke, so I've got to do the whole darn thing by hand. If this stalls for another 6 hours, we're looking at 20-24"...I can only hope that doesn't happen.

We've been in a band for the record books here in York, PA, for the past hour. Woke up at 7:15 to find 10" of snow on the ground...now at 8:30, we're over 12". That's over 2 inches of snow in just over an hour, very impressive! It's snowing to beat the band, and that deformation band means business. This is very convective snowfall, and rates are going to approach 3-5" per hour in that band...take it from somebody who's right under it. A foot and counting!! At this rate, 18" is probably.

You'll catch the guys just South of you before you know it! I am still 3'-4" behind you, but with these bands, who knows what happens?

This thing is looking slow to get out of here.... Any idea how long we could stay in the heavy/moderate stuff?

Still pouring snow here. The street that was shoveled a few minutes ago is already snow covered once again.

Any reports from Washington DC yet? Looks like some very heavy snow about to move in...

Blizzard in Springfield, just SW of DC.

People who have not seen the wind. It is not a gradual increase. We went from calm to maybe 5 mph winds to a gust well into the 40's within 10 seconds.

Nice! And they're coming...give it a little more time, and we'll be in much heavier snow rates than we are now. This is going to get wild in an hour or so.

Is this storm really stalling? If so, was this unexpected? Snow is coming down at a great clip and piling up here in Baltimore County.

I thnk some areas have a REAL run at some crazy totals, thi thing is moving SOOOOO SLOW. If it keeps this pace we are in for some CRAZY trouble and they are still talking about my area maybe seeing over 20", and they are talking about their totals are all being conservative...so I dont know, I dont think anyoneknows what to expect from this thing, its already been movin slower than I think mos thought!

A very sloppy mix occurring here in Camden County, NJ. We got 11" or a bit more by 2:30AM but then it changed to sleet/frz rain and rain and has been compacted down to 6 - 7". I expect the changeover to all snow to occur between 9-10AM and then to snow for the next 12 hours. I wouldn't be suprised to see Philly change over by 9AM.
