No improvements for our region on the 18z GFS. Wave 1 is further south & weaker.

Good to see these bowling ball systems. They bring some interesting weather.

Both 0z and 6z GFS bring good snow to Ohio with wave 2. Too bad its on its own right now. GGEM /Euro don't show much.

The EPS and GEFS aren't really impressive either, so I'll wait for something else to intrigue me back in

Eric Elwell just had a post on facebook about snow this weekend. I ran here to see what was up. Nothing as usual it seems. rolleyes.gif

We'll see, these spring storms are known for vicious last minute shifts, we've seen this the last couple weeks already

He pointed to one run of the GFS and did mention that other models differ.

I shall stand with what I think is a low chance of anything noteworthy (A couple inches isn't to me) as I think this winter will continue to remember that it has been harder than Hades getting a significant winter storm for most of the OV.

Of course, we'll probably get one in early April as most if not all of us have washed our hands of Winter smile.gif

meanwhile the NE continues to get blitzed, its crazy how just a small amount of distance on relatively same latitude can yield completely different winters

Too true!

I would like to see that type of snows and wind but would NOT want to deal with disposal and the outages. I like a good powdery snow blizzard that won't weigh lines down and cause heart attacks when shoveling. Wet paste can be nice with a few inches but getting lots..Uggh...

GFS keeps the waves separate, no phase however the northern piece has some punch before fizzling

Great track, poor execution

I think I have 10-11 inches on the season. I hung up this winter in early Feb. We got 1.6 inches in all of February. That’s when you know you’re having a ruff winter.

12z Canadian looks awful for those looking for significant snowfall in our region next weekend.

ECM is wayyyy south also, appears the GFS still an outlier. Literally no model backing it up

UK tries to make the trailing northern piece interesting for a select few from il/in/ky but that's about it. ECM doesn't even have a northern component
