Was driving home after a hysterical night tonight on 422 east which is the highway going away from Cleveland and all the closer suburbs towards Solon, and in about a one mile stretch saw three, count em three cars pulled over in the other direction (422 west). So, for those of you who live in NE Ohio, don't *bleep* with Solon cops. I know where a lot of police traps are and I never speed on that stretch of highway but I need a radar detector or something...because I'm a 15-20 over kind of guy...not to drive fast but that;s just my cruising speed...anyone know how much they run for?...IDK. I know this post doesn't make sense and I'm not very coherent right now so I'll just go to sleep. I may feel like deleting this topic when I wake up and read how stupid I sound. Good night. Last night of summer mad.gif

PS: It's not what you think. I've just had too much sugar/caffeine and had a great time and am really hyped up. Check my spelling it's all good...

I know where most of the speed traps are within like 10-15 miles of my house. It's just if I venture out of my little bubble or if there are some I don't know about.

I don't consider 53 in a 35 and 85 in a 65 that fast unless I have to weave through a lot of traffic to get that fast, that's just me cruising at a comfortable speed. It's people still passing me when I'm doing that that really need to slow down, and believe me it happens all the time...I'm the innocent driver getting blown away and going ohmy.gif

I'm always wondering people's ages. Would've thought you were in your thirties or forties given all the knowledge you have accumulated. laugh.gif

No, this isn't directed at ChicagoStorm I'm just firing off random thoughts.

PS: It got to 72 here today so I can't update the countdown. Next shot maybe next weekend if the GFS has any clue.

Ahh, I see. I'm completely surrounded by urban roads for miles, so it's hard to escape the traffic, but If I drive far enouh, I tend to go 80-85 on a freeway. I'd love to be in OK on a rural road, and go 100.

Being jobless, I'd say that's a boatload of money! Looks like a great product though. We all need one of those. laugh.gif

That would be convenient. I could buy a radar detector and still spend like $200 on myself all in one pay check which comes every 2-3 weeks. I need to learn how to spend my money more wisely at some point but not now...

I mean I'm not going to buy one so I can drive 100 and get away with it, but I don't want to get pulled over for doing 85-90 in a 65 at midnight on my way home from work when there's no traffic. That's not dangerous at all. If there's ice on the roads and traffic and I'm still speeding then you pull me over and I actually deserve it.

I'm so lucky to have the job I have. Minimum wage + tips, and people tip way more then they need. One afternoon I worked 5 hours/3 groups...the two hour group tipped 20, one of the one hour groups tipped 20, and the other one hour group tipped 30...the last hour was clean up. So, for the 4 hours I was reffing I got minimum wage minus tax which is about $24 for 4 hours, plus 70 in tips which is sick...that afternoon I worked for 5 hours and made 100...I really don't understand why people tip that much when I sit in the ref stand and ref their games of whirlyball for an hour or two but I won't complain.

Just because I have demeaned myself a couple of times in this thread does not mean other people have to continue the trend of complimenting other members and ignoring me mad.gif

I'm joking obviously, but ya until wfreeck put his age up I always assumed he was more in like his late 20s or 30s. He had too much of a sense of humor to be say 38+ but I always thought he was older.
