There used to be a weekend thread.. but for some reason the search function isnt working for me.. and i didnt want to go back through all the pages so i decided just to start a new one.

My weekend, unfortunately, is not going to be much fun. One of my classes this semester is an experiential learning Business class, where we're split into groups of 5, and assigned a non-profit organization. Our entire semester in this class is spent planning and hosting events to raise money for this non-profit (our non profit is the Greyhound Pets of America).

ANNNYWHO.. we got this lawyer to donate the parking lot to his building over the weekend and we are going to be charging people to park there (for the huuuuge art festival that is right next door).. so i'll be out doing that from 8:30-5 both saturday and sunday. Boo. sad.gif But i hope we get a lot of $$$$$$!!!

Edit: I forgot to mention what im doing tonight to kick off the weekend, it's sure to make everyone jealous... im going to the library, then home.. to write a paper about The cultural impact of religion in Russian Society. I know you all are jealous!!

What's everyone else got goin on this weekend??

Waking up at 5am for work, working, coming home, getting my son, taking my piece of *bleep* car back to the people who were supposed to fix it...maybe get some much needed roleplay in...eventually going to see an adorable baby named Anya...sleeping....waking up whenever the mood suits, laundry, cleaning house, sleeping, waking up at 5am to go to work on Monday. Gosh my weekends are exciting.

Okay your paper topic actually does sound interesting to me, but then again I study theology for fun. Hope your fundraiser went well.

Hmm... well...
Friday, I had dinner with my parents and then hung out with some friends. Which was actually not very exciting as no one could decide what they wanted to do for some reason.

Saturday, I worked, cooked dinner (Fish and veggies) and slept early.

Sunday, I'm working and then afterwards I have house chores to do and maybe I can convince someone to go to this club with me. It's called Bordello and claims to have real vaudville shows.

Friday afternoon had a doc appt. left there to the bank to cash paycheck, then grocery shopping. I went home from there and bbq some burgers. Saturday I repaired the floor in the Ice shanty, put down carpet and built a bench seat for it. Turned on the heater inside, had a few adult beverages and listend to the Tigers game on the radio. BBq then went to bed.
Sunday Morning I went sucker fishing, caught a few fish, slipped in the mud and fell into the river up to my knees. Then went home cleaned fish, bbq some pork loins.
monday morning I went and had blood drawn that was suppose to be done friday except I hate needles and felt that I was traumasized enough friday when I went to the doctor to begin with.

Tonight I'm doing nothing. Tomorrow (Saturday) my brother has it in his head that he wants to have a BBQ at my house....despite the fact that I told him it will be about lower 40's and rain. Sunday is church and our pot luck luncheon afterward to celebrate March birthdays in our congregation.

Real exciting...I know. wink.gif
