I haven't been on here in a few months, but I had my son on 04/09/11. We learned he had a possible heart defect the day before he was born. I had him at 36 weeks and he weighed 4lbs 1oz. I had him at the Med in Memphis via emergency c-section. My son was transported to LeBonheur Children's Hospital on 04/10/11. He was born with heterotaxy syndrome, digeorge syndrome, asplenia, and had multiple heart defects. He had his first surgery at 5 days old on 04/14/11 to put bands on his pulmonary arteries. He had a second surgery on his stomach to prevent malrotation in his intestines on 05/19/11. We soon learned there after that his health was getting worse and not better. He developed pulmonary stenosis and the doctors said there was nothing they could do for him. During the early morning hours on 07/14/11, his oxygen remained in the 20s and 30s...a couple or so hours later his blood pressure was 52/17. A few moments later, his heart rate began to decline. After many attempts, they could not bring him back. I miss and love my son so much and wish he was back with me and my husband. But he's not suffering anymore. He's been through so much during the three months of his life than any adult will endure they're entire life. I love you Jordan...you are our guardian angel now <3 04/09/11 to 07/14/11

There is little I can say or express that will ease the sorrow and grief you and your husband are experiencing at this time. You both are in my thoughts and prayers and while I have not experienced anything comparable to what you both may be going through, I pray that God will wrap you in His love and tender mercies. Thanks you all...I appreciate it....we are hoping next year we can try again after we get things back stable again....praying this doesn't happen again but it might since I have a chromosomal translocation :-( *sigh* ready to get rid of feeling empty!!!
