This weather pattern sucks. I don't mind three- or four-day periods of mild temperatures during the winter, but it becomes absurd when it lasts for a week or longer. The high temperature in my area was 73F on Wednesday, 75F yesterday, and forecast to be 75F again today. Aside from tomorrow (61F), no high temperature in the next 10 days is forecast to be lower than 65F here. My patience better pay off, and I better get some nice, refreshing cold air late in the month.

The high temperature here on Friday was 79F, which was not only a record for the day, but one degree off the record for the month of January. It was also the 11th record high temperature observed here since October 1. wacko.gif

Yesterday, the high was 72F, and today it's forecast to be 75F. The short-term forecast says upper 60s or lower 70s for this entire upcoming week, so we'll probably have at least three more days with temperatures in the 70s. I want the cool air back now. sad.gif

Look forward to next winter, I guess.

Sunday's high was 76F, another record. That's the 12th record high since October 1.
