Current watches/warnings as of 1AM eastern/12AM central

Most recent observations. Still 90 degrees in eastern MN as of Midnight. That's absurd. Honorable mention is the upper 70 dew point in Illinois. That must feel nice.

Toledo, OH currently has a heat index of 101. My town in Colorado had a regular temp of 101 two days ago. I have successfully kicked out the hot weather and sent it to my parents!!

Can verify it's hot, ho, hot! Lucky enough to be poolside while visiting the parents. I feel bad for those who don't have A.C. currently 95* with DP of 73. Ugh!

I can't even imagine with that could feel like. Ouch! I think the highest dew point I've ever experienced might be 75 IMBY.

I saved the tally I kept from last year. I saved the tally from 2016 too, but I used KHAO which is frequently warmer than KCVG. Needless to say, I trust CVG more than a small airport in the middle of semi-rural Ohio.

Dewpoint yesterday peaked in the 82-85 range in my immediate area (according to personal weather stations on Wunderground). This is the highest I have ever observed. The heat index surpassed 120 at my station, and it certainly felt stifling. The nearby airport recorded a much more meager 90/77/103 reading as the high. Dewpoint down to 78 this morning IMBY - it feels like the tropics right now. Even if the nearby dews are inflated by forests/farm fields - this is still among the most impressive heat events I have witnessed. It should be a bit more manageable today.

The record high of 101* on June 25 1988 at CYXU had a much more manageable dewpoint of 68* - temperature readings seem a little lower but the humidity makes it far worse. I wonder if there are other heatwaves that have been forgotten or not noticed in the record books.

Thank you sir. Much appreciated. I didnt think it was too hot last year. We already have as many days this year and are going to surpass it today.

Mother Nature has raised the stakes today. DP of 77.

Ended June with 11 days 90+. Average daily high was 87.4 and month ended 4.5 degrees above normal.

Not looking forward to my next electric bill, had my first ever $200 bill last one, can only imagine the next one.

Missing a pop up storm to my direct south/southeast. Just close enough to sap all of the energy from the atmosphere...
