Never started a thread, but couldn't find one specifically addressing the winter aspect of this system. I may have overlooked it and, if so, mods can delete this.

0z NAM indicating rain to snow from Mo to NIL/SWI into MI, primarily Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Starting to feel like this could be one that comes out of nowhere and drops a quick 6+ in some areas that weren't expecting it.

18z another nice hit for northern MI.

Man, if only the cold air would show up a little sooner.

18z GFS and NAM

This is trending away from me, without a doubt.

I said this a few weeks ago. Definitely possible, if not probable.

Chicago is out of it. However, WI isn't. Story of the winter. Expletives.

I wish this storm would go south for you Chicago folks to see some white stuff again. The snow is all but pointless up here now in WI as our frost in the ground is pretty much non existent and most snowmobile trails are closed or closing.
