Looking like a nice 10-15cm here later today to top up from the weekends storm, maybe turning to a bit of drizzle after though staying cold.

Latest GEM Reg pretty consistant, heaviest stuff more out West and the South coast, maybe odd pocket on the Avalon.

What a mess here this morning, much like Sunday though with less snow, seems worse to clean up today! 10cm of snow with freezing rain and bit of rain, the snow is stuck to everything like concrete and weighs a ton, roads a complete mess especially side roads. Not quite as much snow as forecast, it never really got going to 7pm the low was over the Avalon for a few hours before but not filling in, someone said was to do with it encountering very dry air over the Avalon, that cut down on accumulations but when it started it came down fast, whole Avalon almost seemed to be covered in yellows and bits of red on the radar for 2/3 hours, intense stuff never seen the radar quite so intense, just a pity warmer air moved in for the final hour or so...was interesting to see though my weather station went from -1 to +3 in the space of about 15mins, then dipped again to zero, then quickly went back up to +2.

Nice image. Is it available on a public site? What's the URL?

You can also get access to the CMC products at http://vizaweb:vizaweb@www.meteo.gc.ca/vizaweb/index_e.html then click ''click here to access Vizaweb''

The LAM product for the Maritimes is quite zoomed.
