Officially the biggest snow storm of the season for the city of Boston laugh.gif 3.2"

I wouldn't be surprised if this is also or closely matches Boston's biggest snow "storm" in almost 2 years! Unreal.

Considering we haven't had a storm over 4" in 2 years I think so.

The storm finished and I still had white marks on some surfaces. Omg the first storm that gave wintry precip that didn't get washed away by rain or warm temps. laugh.gif

Wow, as soon as I got to Rockland county the freezing rain coating disappeared and snow totals dramatically increased... I just measured 3" in central Rockland county!

When I left work at 630am the snow was still heavy in Mahwah, but as soon as I get to Ridgewood it turned to sleet then plain rain. I guess the rain snow line moved further north during the day.

Interesting that you still had snow at 6:30am... by then I think it was sleet or freezing rain here but not 100% sure since I was asleep. From my analysis today on my road trip (measured nearly 4" in central Rockland county!), I was right over the sharp gradient zone, where totals increased not far to my north and decreased just to my south. This is an approximate analysis of the conditions I recorded during my trip:
