QUOTE(Snohio @ Feb 27 2013, 10:47 AM) *
Got a trace of snow yesterday. Snowed for about 5-10 minutes with big flakes before changing back to rain. It finally started snowing here west of Toledo about an hour or so ago. Have a dusting on grassy areas. This storm was a downer, but I knew we were borderline.

I know what you mean! All storms have their battlezones and unfortunately we were it with this one. Moderate snow once again, just back and forth, back and forth, lol.

Still coming down in Indy area/ Carmel too...but nothing is sticking dry.gif It's too warm and the ground too warm from that poopy rain yesterday. Otherwise we'd have multiple inches by now, or tonight. The local news said maybe an inch, total........ What's gonna happen is all this will freeze and be slick as snot in the morning, you watch.

Nice to see snow cover on the ground again smile.gif

Nice thing is that pavement is mostly wet so one can have a decent look winter wise without bad driving conditions.

Currently still snowing with a temp of 31.9 degrees IMBY.

wow nice...more than us here..not quite done yet either. Id say the GFS won the battle this round vs the NAM which the last 4-6 runs or so had about 3/4'' TOTAL not including melting but this was also for today into tonight. GFS had around 1.5'' recently which I think given melting and the rest of today would be about right

It was a nice surprising band. Not a ton of accumulation as surface temps were around 36 degrees so it didn't stick much, but it did look very nice!

The 7-day snowfall total of 20.5" (last Thursday through today) is highest on record in Columbia. The second highest is 20.2" in 2011, which included the February 2nd winter storm.

Thanks to this storm and the one before it! Awesome!
