wow reports from that event showed golf ball sized hail in lancaster city region and most likely the effects of a microburst from about columbia on ENE from there to the city. They just got rid of the remaining trees from around the city but there is still debris all over the place. I also live across a church and it looks like the brick sign was knocked off its position from those winds.

I feel the golf ball size hail was either on the east side or north side of the city that seemed to be where the core was at its worse. Definitely quarter size around where I live though. Truly awesome end to summer storms.

Who says it was the last summer storms..... Even though doesn't look like we'll get all that warm anytime soon again. Crazy to think on this day last year we were at 95 degrees. Today will maybe hit 70.

Ehh its a stretch I could see an instance where we get a nice dynamic front that comes through sort of similar to this but with cold air and temps maybe mid 70s maybe low 80s. We will see not looking likely as of now but potential is there say october??
