The Bruce county area and Kincardine area have been getting hit hard as well. Intense squall going on right now. Highway 21 has been closed for over 2 days now. I'm surprised noone really talked about this squall event much or made any snowfall maps or anything. Definitely the largest squall outbreak of the season so far.

I was away from my computer all weekend so I couldn't make a map but I did predict 30-60cm of snow in the Grey County area from Sauble Beach to Owen Sound up towards Tobermory and across to Meaford.

We have (along with the West and South coasts) a snow squall warning out for 15-20cm today. I can't see it myself not for the East Avalon, the squalls are coming from the SW, a few seem to pass over but weakening by time hitting St Johns, we had a couple of cm's overnight. I suppose the nature of squalls is it's hit and miss, one area can get nailed whilst 10km away nothing. See if they pick up in intensity as the day goes one.
Looks like the weekend low is going to be bit too far SE for any significant snow here now, unless it can change over the coming couple of days. We have decent snow cover here now and freezing temps so least that will continue for the forseaable, would rather the low miss SE than move to far NE landing us in the mild/rainy sector.
