Well, Ottawa should have an amazing white Christmas this year along with many other areas across Canada who have snow. Southern ontario still has a little chance tonight and tomorrow with a bit of snow possible, so we'll see.

That said, I am a little disappointed that Ottawa won't be getting any fresh snow tomorrow, Christmas day, as was talked about/forecasted a bit recently. It would have been nice to have a fresh snow for the big day.

I guess I can never be completely happy with our winters anymore. Or maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy. Being this time of year, it makes me think...... "You know you're getting old when santa starts looking younger!" wink.gif

I would prefer a quiet day on the 25th since I will be out of town. Just a deserving brake before the next wallop on the 26-27th which will just the snow depth to probably over 80 cm if not more

No white christmas here by looks of it, 30mm of rain yesterday washed away all the snow, bar the icy piles around driveways, parking lots etc

Cold again today, flurries forecast with outside chance of couple of cms so some places may wake up white if they hit a few decent showers.

Yeah, I don't mind the quiet weather either, especially knowing that a snowstorm is on the horizon in a couple of days (which at this time of writing is just hours away).

Christmas was the whitest it's been in years for Ottawa I would say. Such a deep and thick base, even on the roofs.

It was an awesome white Christmas in Ottawa, hope everybody had a merry Christmas whether white or not! smile.gif
