GEM ensembles showing all of Ontario below normal versus the next 10 days. Southern Ontario is approx 2.5C below normal. Bad for the swimming, but good for the electricity bills with less load on air conditioners. https://weather.gc.ca/data/ensemble/images/tenday.gif

Yea, this sounds about right. Ensembles have been consistent in showing a slightly below normal stretch, not the crazy anomalies being shown by the OP runs. 2 degrees below has been the consistent suggestion from ensembles over the last week.

My 7 day forecast here temp-wise:

24, 21, 20, 20, 23, 24, 24.

Normal high is 24. I'll take advantage of those few cooler days to get back to some garden work that I bailed on during the ridiculous heat and humidity the past couple weekends.

Well this is Day 2 of the long advertised cold spell and as I suspected, it's not much of a story down here.
Yesterday was mostly sunny and 22. We had a great storm roll through around 2pm. Tons of hail. Then back to sunny and we had a pool party in the eve.
Full sun here this morning with sort range models taking the temps to 23. A far cry from the 18 EC and the OP models were showing last week. We'll see how tomorrow pans out but Wed is sunny and 25. Then back to above normal for the weekend by the looks of it.

By the way, Sat was a perfect summer day. 25-26 and full sun. Just beautiful. We're on a roll with our weekend weather recently.

A cool 17C this morning and clouds. The sunshine and sunset yesterday evening was gorgeous though.
