1) What are you thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day?

Friends, family, job....the usual wink.gif

2) Are/Did you travel out of town or did you have a Thanksgiving meal at home? (Your chance to complain if you have to work on Thanksgiving!)

I'm working 12 hours on Thanksgiving but not going to complain....can use
the $ plus somebody obviously wanted off really bad to ask for it at the last minute.

3) Could we have a hint of the menu items...any specialties we need to know about?

My boss is bringing me turkey and dressing (though that could have been
just a lure to get me to work). I'll miss my mon's wonderful oyster dressing .

4) Pie: !!!!! Did/Will you have pie....What kinds? Or is there a different traditional dessert?

I've bought a Marie Callender's Pumpkin Pie which gets very good reviews.
Love the pumkin pie!

5) Do you eat until....Full, Very Full, or (It's Wafer Thin. Monty Python skit) Explosively Full?

Till I can't swallow any more sad.gif

Black Friday:

6) Are/did you get up early to go shopping for the Doorbuster Specials? How early?

Not this year...learned my lesson awhile back.

7) What is the best deal you have ever gotten on a Black Friday? If not shopping what's the best thing you did instead?

The one time I ventured into a store on Black Friday was several years ago
when both my sons were dating girls I liked... rolleyes.gif . Belk's had a great deal on fleece robes...$40 for 2 $50 robes. I was happy...they were thrilled!

8) Do you participate in so-called 'Cyber Monday' and the internet deals? Do you shop online very often?

Only for books and sometimes for Priceline deals. Don't do the 'Cyber Monday'
thing.

9) Are you planning to see a movie over the Holiday weekend? Or just watch Sports?

I'll be working the whole time and I manage to find ways to amuse myself.

10) Have you ever gotten into a fender bender or come out to a damaged vehicle when Holiday shopping?

Almost got run over by some guy trying to beat me to the one free buggy
in the parking lot at K-mart one year. Got in my car and went back home.

Thanks(giving) for listening.....And everyone have a great holiday whether you are working or not!

Above all ...Stay Safe and tell your loved ones how special they are....! wink.gif

Wonderful job Idees.... happy.gif . Thank you for posting early (and for being a
special friend
).

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body.

Rather it should be to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and the Good Book in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO what a ride!"
