Well, came back from my bath and the dogs' treat bowl was laying empty on the floor; Ellie licking the bowl. I'm sure Maggie the cat had something to do with opening the cabinet and knocking it down, but Ellie has eaten the entire bowl of assorted chicken bacon and jerky treats!
I'm certain she will be sick. The other dog was asleep in his chair and is for once completely innocent. But now, no treats for any body.
I guess I should have bought her a cake yesterday.

Been trying to drag Cracker back in here...she's resisting dry.gif . Always had

a mind of her own, that one...just like my double-spaced typing.

Here's a few of my son and his gf's pets. The lizard-looking thingy

is their latest acquisition...they named it 'Classic.' The dachshund mix

is my favorite. Her name is Seraphina and she ain't afraid of the big boys.

oh those are cute, Wings!

and it seems Ellie suffered no ill effects from her over indulgence. Thank goodness! I was expecting a mess! The snacks have been relocated and I am planning to get a child lock to keep Maggie from "helping" again.

What sweet babies!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body.

Rather it should be to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand and the Good Book in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO what a ride!"

a dog's best friend?

update:
Maggie has redeemed herself by catching her first mouse- in the house. It wasn't too badly beaten so I put it in a cage intending to release it the next day. Some how it got out. Mr. Mouse was not as lucky the second time

This is a picture of the bravest lady I know....my sister-in-law, taken moments before she
was to have her eye removed from complications involving a detached retina. The pain
from that was enormous she said but since her surgery yesterday she has been pain-free.
So proud of her and my awesome brother for being so supportive, they've just been
married a year.
