There's at least one night stalker here! Got a small taste of spring today with a high of 50. Up to 6" of snow tomorrow though to replace what melted off!

We had a great day here, it got up to 58, and melted most of the snow but we got more snow comming today about 1 to 2 inches only. I can deal with that, the next few days will be in the 55 range. To bad i don't get to see it, I'll be sleeping through it all. sad.gif

Did they recover any of those corvettes or not? Haven't heard anything else about them.

Hey bfraser, gonna be in your neck of the woods Saturday. Anything fun to do in GR without a lot of money? I've been to the Big Buck Brewery and I loved it!

Don't know if they have gotten them all out yet - they have pulled at least some of them out and are putting them on display in their damaged condition for a while before repairing them.

Big buck brewery in Gaylord?
Grand Rapids is beer city USA, we have many small breweries downtown. If you like Hockey The Grand rapids griffins at the Van Andel arena, and it's walking distance from dozens of microbreweries. We also have a new Cabela's (5 minutes from G.R.). We are kind of stuck in an extended winter right now, so not a whole lot going on until it warms up.
Fredrick Meijer Gardens Butterfly exhibit is worth a visit.

It's been years, so maybe Big Buck is not there anymore, but it was in GR. Butterflies sounds interesting tho. The little woman would like that.

The annual Butterflies Are Blooming exhibition at Meijer Gardens is the largest temporary tropical butterfly exhibition in the nation. From March 1 through April 30, guests can experience tropical butterflies from around the world flying freely in the Tropical Conservatory.

Try working a swing shift, i'm on seconds this week and thirds next week and firsts after that, been doing it for 25 yrs, and it sucks mad.gif

Yep, know what you mean. Been doing the 'southern swing' for 27 years. 7 11-7 shifts, 2 days off, 7 3-11 shifts, 1 day off, 7 7-3 shifts, 4 days off (long break and only weekend off for the month). Thankfully I function pretty well on 4-6 hours sleep a day/night/whatever. laugh.gif
