The Atlantic basin continues it's busy season with potentially 3 named storms on the go again soon:

I think Jose impacts (if any) in Atlantic Canada will not be too severe.

Not a typical september underway at all. Going to come in way warmer than normal if the long range is to be believed.
Haven't had any measurable rain since Labour Day. Sunny and hot day after day. My lawn is in bad shape. Sept is usually the month I can restore it to green and healthy after summer.
Models are giving my area 3-4 days over 30 with humidex readings in the 40s next week. The days below 30 are barely below. 27-29 and lots of humidity.
What a finish to summer!

Yep, another week of this...will make winter feel shorter. The pool is just warm enough to take a dip now:

We hit 28.7C yesterday, gorgeous day. Lots of blue sky and sun. Looks like a carbon copy again today.

It's quite unusual for this warm of weather to stay so long. Usually it lasts a week max. But this coming week (and next weekend) look fantastic, highs between 26 and 30C for the next 10 days with lots of sun.

Normal temps for this period are around 19-20C , so this is quite the setup. 7 to 10C above normal for 15 consecutive days.

I was almost sure that this year for the first time EVER, Calgary was going to beat Toronto for days over 25C (it's never happened before). Just 5 days ago, Calgary was sitting at 60 days, Toronto back at 57. But it looks like history won't be made, as it's now tied at 60 each as of yesterday, with Toronto projected to top 25C for the next 10 days, while Calgary will struggle to reach 20C before falling back into single digits.

TWN had us forecasted for 22C today, EC at 25C . We actually hit 27.5C with a 34C humidex. More sunshine then expected. It felt HOT when I was out around 1-2pm today, like an oven. That type of heat was rare this summer.

Looks like another solid 25C day tomorrow with sun and clouds before a fantastic stretch of weather takes over from Wednesday through Monday with sunshine every day and temps between 27 and 30C. The best of the year.

The sunshine and warm temps just won't let up....this is awesome!

28 and VERY muggy the last few days. September looks to be headed towards one of our warmest in a long time if this forecast pans out.

Overcast and dull out there today, doesn't look like the sun will break out up here based on future satellite shots. The GTA looks like they could get some clear breaks this afternoon which should help propel the temps up into the 26-27C range. But north of Highway 7 things should remain more cloudy.

Long range looks FANTASTIC beginning tomorrow. Here's the 7 day from TWN for Alliston:
