Be using the system since August 2010. My system rating based upon nearby calibrated system is as follows:
http://weather.gladstonefamily.net/site/AT844 You'll see that its not 100% accurate, but it pretty darn close once is calibrated with and run through a free application called "Cumulus". This app will correct the error to the humidity sensor which read 20% lower than actual, day time temps are warmer as the solar shield is not as good as it could be and the barometer needed a slight correction as it reads .18 inches of mercury lower than actual. I take it with me while RVin'g as it has the automatic dumping rain guage, but is suseptiable to wind errors. I haven't had time to figure how to correct this. But for a $150 dollar system...its worth the expense and I don't have to purchase seperate software and cabling like the Davis Systems. Thought Davis is the benchmark of weather stations.....if you can afford one. My Local Weather Station: http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation...sp?ID=KMTGREAT7 |
