The first 2 days of June were solid here but the last 3 have been rather lousy for the most part. All looks to change as we go forward.

The 18Z GFS has temps hitting the high 20s low 30s most days for the ten days following this Saturday. A nice SE ridge keeps the warm blowing our way. Can't believe I had the heating on today...next week the AC will be running all day and night I suspect.

Yep looks like summer is arriving by Sunday. Some of the warmer areas (Collingwood, Alliston, Windsor, Sarnia, Petawawa) will be seeing multiple 30C+ days.

Yes your micro climate pays off in the summer. Are you still moving to Barrie at some point? Prices have fallen a bit since the crazy 40% YOY rise in March...bit of sense coming back into the market.

There was frost here at 5am here when I let the dog out, all gone an hour or so later, not a bad day sunny and a high of 6c. But I see a miracle on Friday, looks a one off though in general a warming trend to more near average values!:

Yes, managed to sell in the peak in March. And purchased last month in Barrie in the south end. Essentially traded a townhouse in Alliston for a detached bungalow in Barrie for the same price. Closing is end of June, so looking forward to it. First winter in the official snow belt. I had to settle with south end, as I work out of Alliston area so need access to the south. And the 225cm average in South Barrie is still way better then the 155cm in Alliston!

Looking forward to the next few days across the region. I think we will hit 25C tomorrow, 26C Friday, 26C Sunday, and then 30-33C on Sunday-Wednesday. Should be a great stretch of weather.

Quite a forecast coming up!
25, 25, 27, 32, 32, 32, 28, 28. Tons of sun. And the humidity. This might be a preview of the upcoming summer. Last summer was bone dry and very hot, but not overly humid.
Most models are pegging my humidex readings in the 40-43 range Sunday-Wednesday. In the city that is downright nasty. Especially this early before pools and splash pads are open. I checked the water temp forecasts at Lake Ontario and Lake Erie in hopes of getting a beach day Sunday, but the water temps are only pegged to be around 15-16 degrees at my closest beaches. No thanks. haha

Our pool is up to 24c right now and that's without the heater on. I'll be swimming lots this weekend and early next week. Can't wait

Made it just short of 25C today here with minimal wind. Lots of blue sky, it was a perfect summer day IMO. You could be outside by a pool and not be cold. Sun was strong, it felt much warmer.

We need to play catch up, so far Calgary is beating us on 25C days, they just recorded their 8th day this year over 25C, Toronto is still at 4. Very rare.

Agree 100% that this is the perfect summer day. Just warm enough, no humidity, light breeze. Just perfect.

Could not agree more. Clear skies, comfortable temps and a light breeze with temps in the low to mid 20's along with no humidity is the definition of perfect weather in my books.

Meanwhile in St Johns we reported clear skys for the first time in 2 months, and stats like this from yesterday excite us:

And now, 4 straight hours (1:30 PM-4:30 PM) of clear daytime skies at St Johns #YYT is the longest since October 12, 2016 (6 hours) #nlwx

That and likely the first 20c day of the year today! blink.gif
