0.51 for the hour. No bad

That's about a snowfall rate of 5" hour, but sun angle would probably knock that down a bit.

Sorry, had to get in some last comments since this won't be here this winter

Chester county area got the training there a bit. Got a decent soaking here under half an inch though. May have a last line that's out by state college now.

Yea saw that maybe we can get something from the front coming through, not many times you actually see the front on radar so thats cool, but the environment is pretty tapped for now unless you manage to get some destabilization to happen in the next hour.

We may have something try to pop as the front works through atmosphere still relatively unstable aloft and cape is advecting into the area with the front so there is a possibility once it hits the deep tropical atmosphere. Should be relatively scattered in nature though and then relief!

Storms off to the NW again moving SE now might get some boomers before the end of the day. Already set a record down here for single day rainfall of 3.34" basically a whole months of rain in a day considering we have not had that much rain since mid june this was a bit of a shocker. More to come over the next few weeks it seems.

I was hoping for just a pounding from these storms yesterday. As they approached, again strong winds ahead of the storm killed the heat and the storms just weren't much. Just moderate rains and a few heavy downpours by me.

I gotta ask. When storms like these are coming across the region (NNJ) they always seem to be pretty nasty in western nj but as they approach the bergen county area the winds ahead of it kill the storms. Why is that? Temps dropped 24 degree's in 10 minutes yesterday afternoon.
