Didn't know where to post this but surprise surprise, MidAtl looking at some activity. Funny almost looks to me like a rotation around a certain high pressure ridge located off the SE coast? maybe the reason why the front took so long to pass and has gotten hung up so close which NO model predicted even short rangers, go figure.

Yeah just a few spritzes of rain perfectly timed for parent pick-up supervision duty outside on the loop. Rumor was there were a few sleet pellets mixed in but I never saw one.

39 this afternoon with a few light sprinkles. 74 Thursday afternoon with heavier rain. Mother Nature is not playing nice.

This was one of the most tedious, sluggish systems in recent memory. I have not seen the sun since Thursday, and the bright sunny day for today that they had promised for many days does not appear to be coming. The Greater Binghamton Overcast will be here all day because stratocumulus clouds don't break up until sunset. Of course, it will clear right after sunset, as this sort of cloudy pattern usually does.

No, Sid, you were wrong--a querulous Monday morning. Two hours after you posed this, the sun came out and elevated your mood.
