I'll reply...the EC stats for Barrie are oir Simcoe airport I think, and they are lower than for the dowtown by a degree or so. The recording stations round here haven't been consistant in recent years, so some what frustrating.

Awesome, if uncomfortable temps for Alliston though. I know it has hit 35 here a couple of times though, but EC are missing that, but TWN and others are getting it. Odd.

Yes Barrie's station does seem a tad cool on some days I notice. Barrie's EC's station is actually NE of the city, and often gets caught in cross breeze between GB and Lake Simcoe. The actual city of Barrie is usually 1C warmer then what this station is showing.

I will always stand by the measurements, Ive been measuring snow for 20 years! Last winter was by no means an epic winter, but we did nickel and dime our way to normal. Receiving a foot of snow in April was enough to push this area above normal.

As for temperature, the Oro Medonte region is usually a little cooler then the Barrie area, and EC's Lake Simcoe station is located outside the Barrie limits on the NE side. So it makes sense why that specific station may be a tad cold biased.
