I was assaulted by quarter-size hail, once when I was walking home from cathechism class as a child. It was like the sound of the apocalypse as the hail neared. It definitely left me numb & stingy.

I´d say the biggest one I´ve seen was about the size of a golf ball. That was a few years ago. So nothing super major.

The worst hail I have ever seen, 3/4 inch hail at the Hanover Mall, in Hanover Mass. June 98??? Just a few stones followed by a lot of rain and wind. Storm was tornado warned after a wall cloud was seen In Halifax, my home town.
A year before we had hail, I am only 20 so mind you I was a kid at this point. I think that storm had more wind than rain. Did not see hail again until June 1 2011 at around 9 am. -------------------- Weather 2012-2013
