I was looking at mesonet after I posted that and virtually no wind. Definitely lots of cold spots and warm spots. KMDT is almost 6 degrees warmer.

We ended up reaching -4 here in salisbury md around 5:30 this am at the airport. Currently -2.0 imby. It's been a while since we have been that cold, very very rarely do we get below 0

Funny seeing locations in the SE US colder than NYC... currently it's 17 degrees in Central Park and 14 in Atlanta. Richmond is not even close with 5 degrees.

Typical Pine Barren morning after a fresh snow fall and clear skys. It was -6 at my house this morning and 8 miles away at ACY airport it was 3. Can't wait to get my next propane bill, ouch.

Salisbury, MD all time extreme low for any month since 1948 is 8 below zero. They hit 6 below this morning. blink.gif

Yea I was amazed this am to wake up and see -2.2 imby and I know there are always colder readings once you get out in the fields aka the airport which got -6 and my friend 10 miles away reported -8, also our local news reported a reading at trap pond in lower Delaware of -12!!!
