I've been following this guy sometime now. Thought I'd post it to see what some of you have to say about this. I'm not sure if I posted this in the right area tho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaQKfLx-u8w I am firewalled but.... I don't even have to read this to know it's bunk....The Ice Ages are based on the Milankovitch cycles and the tilt of the Earth's axis and our orbit around the sun....anything else is not an 'Ice Age' ...our extreme cold period is many thousands of years away. There have been historical cold periods..such as the 'Little Ice Age' after the Medieval 'warm period'. Even a permanent displacement of the jet stream would not cause an 'Ice Age' ...it is all dependent on the amount of Solar Radiation that reaches the Earth's surface. A large volcano spewing large amounts of Sulfur dioxide gas into the upper atmosphere can cause an abrupt change in the amount of radiation that reaches parts of the Earth's surface for a short term periods of a year or two...but oceans contain so much heat it would take a catastrophic change (such as Polar Ice caps melting to cause extreme cool down of the oceans) other wise the latent heat contained in the Pacific would take years to cool enough just to allow a significant cooling of the entire Earth.... That's my opinion.... -------------------- Perception is everything
