Driving up from Long Island yesterday afternoon, left with full sun and 60s...crossed the bridge and dropped into the 50s, continued to drop through the 50s into the 40s before hitting some spitting rain showers around Hudson, NY. By the time we crossed into VT, it dropped into the 30s. Driving over the high point on Route 7 north of Bennington, precip had witched to a white rain and 35F. No white on our lawn this morning as temp still hovered in the mid-30s through the night, but was a drizzly, cold morning in the valley with snow just above the valley floor. Still chilly, damp and gray with a low cloud deck out there...

You have to admit though... it's pretty darn gorgeous!

7-11am loop.

We're getting one last shot at the precip here. The precip came from the south 2 days ago. Now its from the north because its pulling away.

The outer bands will soon be over us as this thing pulls off the coast of Maine.

Snowing in the Catskills and the hills of Western MA.

With temps on. 11am and in the 40s. Chilly day! Once this thing leaves it's warm up time!

Had to switch the heat on once again, hopefully for the last time, this morning. A cold and cloudy 46F, so looking forward to the 70's just 24 hours away. Unbelievable how my heating bill in March/April was almost more than double Oct thru Feb combined.

Feeling quite nice down here a lot warmer than had originally thought today would be. Have some standing lenticular out there pretty cool ufo like clouds in the sky. Other than that bright blue sky so nice to see another period of warmth.

Picture from the Catskills near Belleyare yesterday. Friend didn't post any new pics, just a lot of cursing.
