Im curious how carbon dioxide is supersaturating the atmosphere when its higher density causes it to sink. Upper atmosphere levels or even upper low atmosphere should not be changing by what goes on at the surface if in fact carbon in most if not all of its forms including dioxide gas sinks like a lead balloon. Seems like way before the upper atmosphere took on higher levels of the carbon , we would all suffocate and die. We truly must be on the verge of suffocation here on the surface where the carbon has sunk if there is so much of it that its presence in the atmosphere is changing our climate so drastically.

I did random search on the internet , " Change in the Earths axis " , as I went through the results I seen some claims that there has been changes by things like Nuclear testing and earthquakes. Im not citing any specific resources for the information , since anyone doing the search should pull up the same results and Im not going to quote anything. I used the search feature on these forums to see if there is a similar thread before posting this and it brought up only one astronomy thread that was not very specific. If I am wrong or did the search wrong then please accept my apologies and remove this thread. A person does not need to be a scientist or expert to realize how something like the earths axis or angle to the sun could change our weather and climate drastically. And because of the scale , even a change that was barely detectable or may not even be detectable at all , or measureable , over the course of years if not decades could have an ever increasing change on our climate. Has this been discussed in here before that Im not aware of ?

I dont know for sure if theres a thread for this or not but I didnt see one. Have a song on your mind and know atleast some of it but wondering who the artist is ?

Heres the first one.... there was a song that came out in I think the early to mid 90's with a few lines in it that goes something like.......... " the reptile greets the waters edge . says its good to meet again , the sun is out it protects us , lets the fish in our bellies swim , ten thousand years ago we danced with the comets from outer space , it was our nature then ,...indigenous.... " I cant find anything about that song anywhere , does anybody know the title and who sang it ?

To start off with , I am pretty attatched to my feelings on the subject just like the rest of you. But I like to hear other views on the topic , and willing to listen. I dont put my faith in scientists because I know as the phrase goes , " the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray " , which is to say that in spite of their good intentions they could still be wrong , and so could I. Weather data may have been recorded for a very long time but its only in relatively recent modern times that the data has been the most accurate with technology and computers to not only record but also standardize and iterpret that data. I really have my doubts as to whether data from 50 to 100 years ago ( or older ) can be relied on as accurate or thorough enough to accurately make future predictions or develop theories based on it. In my mind atleast that leaves only data recorded more recently is reliable. Thats a very short window in time to come up with theories on whats happening to a planet that has been around for probably billions of years and has had more climate changes or shifts than any of us could count. So heres a question , couldnt cooling , theoretically cause exactly the same weather and temp. occurences as warming for a short time ? Before answering , remember that we are seeing some areas tend to be cooler as others tend to be warmer and at this stage we have been seeing what might be called climate shift instead of climate change,........unless Ive missed something. Seems to be a disruption in weather patterns causing weird weather and cooling temps where it would be warmer and warming temps. in places generally cooler.
