Storm has been showing up for a few days now - local offices have made mention of it, and a possible southward trend in the coming day, so who knows. Might as well make a thread for it! ECM and Ensembles all have similar paths currently.

GRR makes mention of the storm in their long-term AFD

QUOTE
As for the Thursday night into Friday cold front the models all show
some sort of snow with this but do not agree on how developed the
surface wave will be. There is a similar story for the warm front
on Saturday. I am thinking we do get some light snow from both of
these but just enough to cause major travel issues. The next big
system on Monday would have thunderstorms with it if it tracks far
enough north but again, given the other factors (blocking Greenland
Highs, MJO etc...I have to wounder if that will be true.

Might as well just get the pain train of disappoint on the rails right now.

Still quite a bit of time to work with this one, though.

This storm has been showing up on the GFS for the last few days. Very shifty - has gone from running through the upper Midwest to more towards a Great Lakes storm, and back and forth.

It's a ways out, but really, this is next weekend.

Warm storm right now, but who knows at this point.
