Anybody know that feeling you get when you hear a song that you hadn't heard in a very long time? Like you didn't know who did the song or what it was called, heard it some time years or decades ago, and then suddenly you hear it on the radio (or something else)? One of the BEST feelings in the world.
That's what I felt when I heard "The Right Profile" by The Clash this evening, off their London Calling album (1979). I remember hearing that song when I was very little, but I had not heard it since then nor did I know who did the song. But I was playing the entire London Calling album on my PC this evening, and then suddenly that song came on and everything just came flooding back to me. Dropped everything else I was doing and diverted all my attention to this song! Put such a big smile on my face!  So amazing that a song/melody can be stored in the very back of your mind for ages, never erasing that thought. Just waiting to hear it again. I love music.
