We got hit pretty good in rural Fort Erie. Lots of deep drifts and school buses were cancelled in Niagara Region today. Id fathom a guess of close to 20 cms. Not bad considering it didn't start until 8pm.

Yes, you ended up in the best dynamics of the storm, and then had that nice lake band from Lake Ontario shift that way.
We ended up with 16cm here. Certainly would have hit 20 had that multi-hour band that stalled just to the west been able to roll in. The Lake Ontario squall that formed late evening was awesome. Clearly picked up on radar even through the synoptic snow. It smoked us for a couple hours before moving your way.

stunning day out there....full blue sky reflecting on fresh white snow. So good to see again!

So, 16cm remains my largest snowfall of the winter. I don't recall a winter like this down here where we nickel and dime our way to decent snow totals.

Barely anything up our way, Barrie ended up with an inch (2.5cm). Alliston about the same. Enough to make it all white looking and with the cold -12C temps none of it is melting.
