beautiful steady light snow here in Jericho, VT

Burlington VT is just inches away from having the snowiest dec-jan-feb period ever on record!! We need to beat out the winter of 2008, which was a snowy one.

Stay tuned!

I just woke up and measured 2.5" of new snow. The QPF is .20". Still snowing lightly, but the radar hints that it will be done here soon.

ohmy.gif Wow what a clipper! Woke up to 5 or 6 light inches on my snow table. Was not expecting that. The depth in my yard is now almost 34" which is close to if not a record for me in the last 7 years since I have been keeping records. Totals for season is about 70 in. so far which is my 7-yr average.

It is winding down now here to flurries. For a while it just didn't want to end. About 4" new snow with liquid equiv. of .29". I just snowblowed the driveway so now the piles are stacked even higher.

I was thinking the snow pack would be cut down quite a bit after Friday's mostly rain storm, but the snow depth is about to where it was or even at bit more in places 20" +/-

NWS had me at "snow accumulations less than 1 inch" but we got 2" and everything is covered. Looks like a winter wonderland again.
