And the GFS shouldn't really be trusted for temp anomalies past 100 years, imo.

What are you talking about? March turns colder on the GFS.

It's so bad, I saw two frogs jump into a roadside ditch today, February 22, 2017, in NE OH.

I truly believe Old Man Winter has become senile and forgot to show up.

LOL, that says it all...

So Accuweathers Winter outlook was for colder then normal and above average snow. Their Spring forecast is for winter to hold on in the Northeast. Don't you have to actually have something in order to hold on to it? I mean what winter are they referring to?

I think they should stick to getting the forecast right for tomorrow instead posting vague historical averages that have absolutely nothing to do with forecasting the weather.

Maine has had 2 quintillion inches of snow which is only shy of California's 4 quintillion inches of snow. Yes, winter can hang on in Maine.

You don't want to be in the jackpot this far out. And we all know strong storms trend ENSW.

this winter wasn't the best (unless your in maine of the ca mountains), neither was last one, but last yr we had the 32" blizzard, this year 30" from 2 main storms 11" and a 14" blizzard, and a few 4" storms.

could've been worse, but maybe next yrs better

Latest Gfs long range doesn't look so bad..After next Thursday on the euro, surface has a hard time breaking freezing through the end of its run with some 0F popping up in northern NY..
