thats why this is the best part.. there is no more rooting for that, we just watch it unfold and what will be will be (even though thats always been the case)

Yes, let's really police this thing tonight so the mods don't have to come in.... really kills it.

Don't know how that happened.

Temps starting to drop, sun setting and no heavy cloud cover, should allows temps to drop even more.

Take with the largest grain of salt possible but if this is what we look like at 10 AM there are going to be a lot of happy people on here.

Doesn't matter, you can tell people to knock it off or stop wish/bitter casting but it doesn't get through. StormTracker is an example, I really tried yesterday but he wouldn't stop, so now more than likely, he can't post. dry.gif

Per my yard therm, I am at 33. Looking to get to about 28 before overcast moves in. Once snowing, shouldn't that drop the temps a bit. Wet Bulbing?

Yup, I really think the NAM has too much precip to the W/NW in PA. Thinking NEPA/NWNJ and points N/NE are the jackpot but there could be some surprises further S along the 'R/S' line.

Pivotal weather has a special view of the NYC metro area for this storm. This is for the 20z HRRR.

That's using 10:1 ratios. If you switch to Kuchera ratios, NYC has about 4" by 10 AM.

Yes, but if you get a sneaky warm layer in there you are looking at sleet or graupel.

Brisk out there. Getting noticeably darker cloud deck moving in. Had to check radar then saw some returns near Baltimore. Is that reaching the ground?

35F

Now the rush begins to finish cleaning out the garage so I can get my wife's car parked in there before it starts snowing.
