Good morning all...
Lost 8 inches of snow pack overnight, amazing. 48 degrees which has been the mean past 24 hours with some dense fog now too. We still have huge piles here and there from the plows and shoveling but expect much of that to be gone by morning as well with the 2-3 inches of warm rain forecasted. Don't mind losing the snow, don't mind the heavy rain but the mud factor has blossomed, uuggh.

Cold air marching along

Always welcome. Another target to convert to the Caps.

Never gonna happen... I have so many Pens clothing items it would probably make you sick to your stomach. Always fun to play yinz guys in the playoffs though! wink.gif

Current Observations...it says 58 on the thermometer but it feels like 70 outside (from my personal perspective not from an actual observation). It's so hot....

So quiet in here. Guess up state NY and NW New England isn't in the interest zone of many and/or high enough priority to discuss here. I'm watching!!

just a shame with the storm track that there wasn't an arctic high in place over Quebec. would have made alot more people happy.

Yeah, I'd like playing the Penguins if we kept beating them in the playoffs....not. Oh well. To make matters worse, a good friend of mine is Connor Sheary's aunt. You can imagine the call I get everytime we lose to the Pens.

But...welcome to this board where the only team we worry about is who gets it. ST

Could be a few surprises, but I think that'll mainly be confined to the northern tier and places NW of Scranton

Yes.

Really no idea on precip type. Nws has my low tonite at 24F. Just depends how early we get to 32F and the fight in the upper levels.

What is the local forecast for this one? How much did you end up with on the last storm?

Each model varies for my area. the euro is much colder than the NAM and gfs, and is actually showing a few inches of snow with almost a foot only 30 miles NW of me. WWA in effect for ice and maybe 1-2 of snow here.

I am definitely winter/snow obsessed but am psyched for this one because we need the rain badly in
central Md. Plus this is a great system to follow. We are looking at up to a 20 deg drop per hour in some
places and should be seeing some "interesting" weather. Everyone in West Md, Central and West Pa
and NY good luck with the snow potential, and for those getting ice, be safe.
