JB has been ...Ok this season so with that this is what he thinks about the GFS.
"gfs likely to far out to sea with it which would fit its bias"

EPS definitely east of OP

[attachment=343243:60B83F10...F91E90B2.jpeg]

Nice snow hole from DCA through PA, kinda in line with GFS and NAV. Now is the troff positive which keeps the storm our or does it come neutral and allows the storm closer to the coast?

barely any measurement.

I'm dealing with the 9" we just got this last go around since the snow was able to get through the peak roof vents into my attic and now melt and leak through the drywall and have the ceiling to almost collapse.

If any thing even though I like snow but sure hope it stays over there and you receive some love. I think over here by Dover DE we have received roughly 12"s or more for this winter. I can do without while I'm having to fix a major headache. blink.gif

dam bro what do you live in. time to upgrade to concrete.

Given the way this winter has gone, totally believe the snow hole on the Euro over SE/SC PA/Northern VA, lol.

Completely agreed. I realize I shouldn't complain since here in Northern VA we're
more than 50% above last year's all-winter total. Of course, last year we had 1.7 inches... dry.gif

Off Topic

Home is only 5 years old. Defective venting at the peak of the roof. Builder taking short cuts as I found out a lot of complaints.

On Topic,

Will keep an eye on how things develop

Thinking NC/VA maybe into MD low forming and moving east from there at this juncture. Energy kicks in a little too late and nothing really to help ride this up the coast. Big issue from run to run has been the energy the GFS shows over the northern Rockies (montana area) if that changes then there is a better chance of this coming up the coast a little bit but not really much into past PA and NJ and even then think that is pushing it.

Will see though probably know better by the end of the weekend of course.

Well not at my house. But then I'll defer. No point in fighting about it because it was still a dismal winter.

EuroEPS control has snow from Georgia to Maine closer to coast the better. Devlops the storm off Carolinas and heads a touch east of benchmark as a sub 990mb.

Still a spread but interesting.

From Allan.

https://twitter.com/RaleighWx/status/951786195813531648

"The 00z ECMWF continues to develop a wave along the front on Wednesday and brings a round of snow for Ga/Carolinas/Va. The EPS has some support. The GFS/Canadian do not support. The GEFS is marginally supportive. Consistency of ECMWF is noteworthy here. So something to watch."

Homenuk is everything but the best out there. He is a glorified model huggers that gets upset with people who call him out and remind him that cranky is better.

Edit: John Madden of weather??!! Can't...stop... laughing

Oh no, I'm referring to cranky, he's the best. Every tweet cranky "draws" on, reminds me of John madden doing football. Idk who the other guy is.
