Well I値l let you know when the changeover starts here if I知 awake. I知 out around Altoona.

Should be in about 2 hours for you, should be. Its hard to judge with the ridge valley setup and progression of cold is perpendicular to ranges.

Well I keep harping my elevation of 2,800-2,900 feet but it has been a steady 54-55 degrees all day. Hasn稚 dropped at all so I知 guessing that WAA is just as nasty up here as at lower elevations.

Nice looks like johnstown winds are shifting and altoona? I bet those places are aloft which if you have elevation the temp change will be different from the valleys of course.

Yea elevation looks to change first than work its way down so who knows may go over sooner than you think.

Meh, I like my art better. laugh.gif

Watching PWS's to north of me experience the cold front. Mansfield (1 hr drive) has flipped winds and dropped 10 degrees since 5:18pm ..

This might be barreling down Rte 15 and get here a bit earlier than I expected... or not. TBD.

As anticipated....creeks are raging! Not quite Irene levels, but getting up there. Creek through the center of town is now maybe only 18" below bridge level. Typically it is maybe 5' below bridge undercarriage....and we still have a lot more rain coming.

Another amazing thing continues to be the microclimate aspect. My ex-wive's house when I left was 61F...drove back to my house where it is currently 40F. Prior to this system we had similar snowpack...they now are down to plowpiles....I still have 4-5" snowpack at my house. Green Mountains my guess is acting as a CAD for my side of the valley.

That seems to be associated with the cold front region should be moving through Altoona right now and probably knocking on state colleges door. IPT probably in about 2 hours?
