After many hours of research, much of it here, I have decided to buy a VP2. I just confirmed payment tonight. Now I am waiting for delivery.

Good choice! I've had mine for almost 3 years and it works great. Mine doens't i.e. my anemometer stopped sending data after 8 months of use and have to fork out another $160 to get it from US to Poland becuase their local resellers are asking nearly $300 for the same item! Presume it's much cheaper in the US but turns out to be very expensive to run anywhere outside which is a shame. I am a little dissapointed about VP2 quality & life expectancy. At least Davis should replace items that fail often at a reasonable price. This post has been edited by davss.com: Oct 8 2012, 10:47 AM |
