4.1" of snow on the ground here for the 9 PM measurement...not sure if we'll pick up much more tonight or not. Disappointing, but still the biggest storm in almost 2 years around here.

No last year we had almost 5" in a storm. Btw I got 6.5" here in Genoa, 2" more in just a few miles

6.5" in Ann Arbor with a small band of heavier snow about to make it through, should be ending within a couple hours. Definitely exceeded my expectations.

From Redford/Livonia border we definitely over achieved NWS. I went along with them and find myself biting my tongue as my older brother (Commerce) and I both have over 5+ inches. After I drive around the block I will post some pictures and a measurement. Sorry Toledo... we stole your storm!

I don't recall 5" in a storm last year...then again I may not have been home here when it happened.

The lake enhancement is looking good for far eastern counties, could reach 9" locally higher. Very satisfied/surprised with this storm. Last measurement was 6.5" for Ann Arbor at 8:15, probably did manage another inch since then.

Port Columbus officially recorded 4.5" of snow, which puts CMH at 7.7" so far for this winter. All of last year, I believe CMH only recorded 11.9".

Congrats. I got almost 8" here. 6-10" was forecasted so dead middle - sleet mixed in @ times so probably could have gotten another 2-4"

Still snowing heavily, have to have at least 7", wouldn't doubt another 2-3" if this keeps up.

Now that it is dark the snow doesn't look that bad. Probably an inch and a half out there. Looks pretty. Nearly twice the snow I saw at any one time all last winter.

Nice. 10 inches solid here and still snowing. Biggest storm in probably 5 years. And was only supposed to get 6 inches. We received more snow than most of Ohio's blizzard warned areas.

Seneca County, Ohio. Maybe 5".

Lesson on why it is not always a good thing to be in the bulls eye.

Model Analysis and Guidance
On December 26, 2012, the Model Analysis and Guidance (MAG) website experienced a major hardware failure.

We are working with NOAA's Web Operations Center to return the MAG to the standard user interface. In the meantime, limited services for the North American region have been restored to accommodate our customers who access the GFS, NAM, and RAP model GIF images directly.

For those who use the web interface, we will continue to provide enhancements to this site as quickly as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. laugh.gif
