Storms form along the immediate Route 30 corridor and head south, part XCII of the 2018 Ohio severe weather season. It's kind of uncanny how many MCVs or waves have kicked off convection right there this spring. The timing is always just a tad too early for NE Ohio. NW Ohio is faring even worse, and they're generally a more convectively active area.

Time for a pattern change. This is too reminiscent of the 2012-2016 dead zone. Will be interesting to see what the ring of fire may bring though with true summer weather now in place.

I don't recall these storms being in the forecast but maybe we are in that part of the summer that T-storms are always possible. Nearest cell is about 10 miles east of me but its gotten noticeable cooler here.

'tis the season. Can't entirely rule out strong/severe storms when the heat index is in the upper 90's.

Got missed by the storms today. Gust front got too far ahead of the storms, lost the instability. Ended up having lightning to our south and our north, but nothing around us. Got some brief rain but that was it.

Never hurts to have an unexpected OFB in the area too.

Was so busy yesterday I didn’t even know that there was severe weather in the area lol. Definitely missed me. Didn’t get any cool air no gust front. Nothing lol. Just hot.
