I posted a link up above with a lot of ECMWF presentations, in fact, I would like some of those on the pro site.
That being said, I have no problem paying for the pro site and I think the ECMWF helps in that decision. I live on the coast and Joe Bastardi is the other primary reason for a pro account. What I would really like to see is a lot of the "tropical tools" all available with the pro subscription. This post has been edited by subq: Jul 23 2010, 01:22 PM |

I'm not sure i will pay for something available free (all ECMWF gribs are free). Of course the presentation tools is your creation , and that could worth something - it's your business. Still, free products are available to download the gribs and present them on nice maps. Not true - ECWMF (the company) restricts most of the data, about 90% of it. All you can get for free is heights, pressure, and some upper-level winds & temps, every 24 hours. Here we are offering you the complete suite, including human-readable variables like surface temp, rain, snow, etc. every 3-6 hours. -------------------- -- Jesse Ferrell, FORUM ADMIN & MODERATOR

There are some charts that need to be added. One is the ecmwf 850-200 shear chart. In fact I don't see any shear charts for any of the models. Here is an example of the ecmwf shear chart: Could you provide the link to which website you obtained that from? -------------------- |

I was wondering if there are plans on adding any anomaly maps for the ECMWF?

I feel like if I'm paying for Accuweather pro that you can try to include a ECMWF Rapids just like the NNM and GFS.... I would like to see the model as it's coming out

I feel like if I'm paying for Accuweather pro that you can try to include a ECMWF Rapids just like the NNM and GFS.... I would like to see the model as it's coming out +1. This needs to happen. I don't know how complicated it would be to do it but waiting for the new maps to come out hours after every other pay site has them isn't helping me much. Still cool to have, but I already know the outcome and am two hours behind the other people with good Euro info. |
