Good call. I long for the day we don't need these threads but forlornly accept that they'll almost certainly be a necessity.

Yay! Won't have to feel guilty about whining any more! Although by the looks of the 12Z GFS I won't be doing much whining after the weekend.

Well my complaint isn't related to the weather but more with the forum...I use my phone a lot to check in here and it never keeps me signed in so every time I want to see all the great images you all post I have to resign in....I have looked already and didn't see a button for it but is there a setting you can click to keep yourself logged in so I don't have to re-login all the time... It's very annoying! Thanks everyone!

This should keep your info stored and log you in automatically each subsequent visit. |

This should keep your info stored and log you in automatically each subsequent visit. Thanks Mike.... When I would go to log in after clicking on a link posted and it would bring me to a log in page it wouldn't give me the option to "remember me" I've no logged in via the link at the top of the message board and was given that option now so hopefully it works. Thanks again |

Anyone else getting sick of the shorter days this time of year? The fact that we're now only three weeks away from when the days start getting longer again brings me immense joy, lol.
By the end of the month we will have already gained 10 minutes in the evening here! ![]() -------------------- Buttonville Airport 2017/2018 Snowfall: 151.5cm

Since the situation has hopefully defused, just a gentle reminder that...
http://forums.accuweather.com/index.php?act=boardrules QUOTE "Wishcasting" is hoping for extreme weather outside of the consensus forecast, often beyond the typical computer forecast model accuracy limit (including "bittercasting" (which is saying "It won't happen" with no reason). If you can't support your forecast with the parameters of at least one forecast model, or quotes from other forecasters, you shouldn't post it.

Yup, nice to see for a change. My only complaint with nature atm is the aforementioned shorter days but she will be taking care of that in about 10 days or so.

Awesome a place where i can complain , the euro has been terrible as of late ? or im i just loosing it .. It probably still enjoys the highest accuracy scores but I haven't been all that impressed lately personally. Wouldn't say the other models are stepping up but the Euro has been suffering some misfires. GFS ensembles have been alright but the OP is still less than impressive. See how they do late month. |

5:30 AM on a Sunday but don't think I'm complaining - beats boring El Nino nonsense any day of the week
![]() ![]() I blacked out the Euro text there just to be safe. |

Had some friends over for dinner last night, they live in South Barrie and they were complaining they spent the whole of Friday clearing snow and they were "knee deep" in the stuff. I felt like putting arsenic in their soup the smug b******s. They of course hate snow. This week looks as though it will be equally frustrating with lots of LES to the north of us, and then the snow we have managed to accumulate will get washed away next weekend...ooh yes, and I will save my final dollop of misery for the Christmas day thread.
Now that is what a complaint thread should feel like ![]() |

I like this thread. I royally screwed up the first 1-2 punch of wet storms we had here in my annoying 400 ft crushed rock driveway. Went to work without plowing or even driving back and forth to create a base and it rained. No way to clean it good. Now i am left with a frozen rutted mess to contend with for the remainder of the season. A few storms will help but come spring time i will need 4x4 to even get out of the property once melting happens. I need a good heavy roller on the first storm to get that base down. There is my weather related *bleep*. Happy Holidays!
