I'm in whitby and that lake band setup right through our area. I picked up about the same 6-7cm. Nice little snow before the clipper hits.

Nice! smile.gif
EC has issued a SWS for Burlington stating there is a potential for 10cm. Not sure whether or not to get my hopes up considering what the maps are showing but my fingers are crossed!

I seem to be a bit too far East for this one. Thinking 2-4 cms maybe. With the bulk of the snow thru the day and the salt on the lots I am not expecting to plow. I could be surprised though.

There's a fairly sharp cut off from the heavier precip. You do look to be right on the edge and maybe just a bit too far SW for this to give you higher amounts. Radar returns will be important.

There's definitely the chance for that much. You are right on the edge as well with the heavier snow but the GFS does have you in that 10cm range. Hope you do well. smile.gif

This evening seems to be quite heavy on the NAM...you're probably right about being on the edge, but worth keeping an eye on.

I think 5cm is more likely with a bit of mixing or ZR at the backend...I think your neighbour on the other side of the river may not fair so well, he has a record to keep after all! Going to be close, I wish you luck.

BTW, the ZR or m8x only applies if the CMC are right:

Thanks, Lake Effect. smile.gif Like I mentioned, I am not holding my breath but remaining hopeful nonetheless.

As always, Thanks.

I will be watching. Sunny in Brantford right now so pavement will warm. Time will tell. Looks like a close miss for us on Sunday as well.

Im expecting a solid 10cm in this neck of the woods. Simcoe County seems to be in the sweet spot for this clipper. I'm excited!

So much for clippers being moisture starved. Newmarket is down for potentially 10 cm and then maybe 5 more on Sunday. I'm feeling Spring coming on so I won't be sad to see it melt. What's the timeline for this to start? We had some nice squall action this morning with a few cm's down and falling at a moderate rate....Anywho, still going to break out the BBQ on the weekend....

I don't like how the GFS consistently puts us in that little donut hole of 5cm. CMC doesn't. Time will tell.

Normally that hole extends to Barrie, but not today.

I posted in the wrong spot. I do find it kind of disheartening that Brett is calling for a trace to 2 cms for GTA. It has started in Brantford...nice winter scene.

Looking at radar this isn't going to last long. Hope at least a cm or two can be squeezed out of this for our first accumulation in Feb.
