spring or not, still excited about the potential laugh.gif right on the southern edge but given the volatility of the time of year, I think anything is still in the cards

QUOTE
This strong low level jet working with CAA
will allow elevated wind speeds to work down to the surface. GFS
momentum transfer is showing gusts of 45mph possible while the NAM
is indicating 35 to 40mph possible.
The orientation of the LLJ will
also be so that the southwestern zones will have the potential to
observe the higher wind gusts than the northeast. Overall, wind
gusts of 35 to 45mph will be possible. A wind advisory might be
required Thursday afternoon.
Have continued mention in the HWO.

Also Thursday will be wrap around moisture from the upper level low.
Widespread rain will move across the area Thursday before starting
to mix with snow later Thursday afternoon. By Thursday evening a
complete change over to snow looks likely as 850mb temperatures fall
to 5 degrees C below zero and surface temperatures fall into the mid
to upper 30s. The low will likely remain close enough to the area
for the chance of snow to continue until Friday morning. Some light
accumulations will be possible Friday morning. It should be noted
that any potential for accumulations will be highly dependent upon
when the snow falls. During the day the chance for accumulations
looks low where as any snow that falls at night has a higher chance
of sticking to grassy/ elevated surfaces
.

QUOTE(WeatherMonger @ Mar 20 2017, 06:59 AM) *
Been waiting for this day for awhile

Winter is officially dead wub.gif

looking that way, except for the places that have already been destroyed this whole year.

Now is that inevitable month of the entire year waiting period where its too warm to snow (not much different than all winter) and not warm enough to be enjoyable. Forecast will call for 40s-50s with dreariness or low 60s with rain.

Hope all is well with your wife, best wishes.

Thank you I appreciate it

Looks like precip being shredded in the cold air, could be why there was never a mention in the forecast
