I have a user who was given a new Android phone recently, with the Accuweather app on it.

Is the Accuweather app supposed to automatically change its location forecast, as you travel between towns and cities?

He claims that on his old phone, the Accuweather app would automatically move its forecast according to which location he was currently at (he's a travelling salesman).

Now with his new phone, the app only keeps showing the forecast for the location where it was originally setup.

I have checked the app settings and can't see anything to set that might correct this.

Any advice on this is much appreciated. I contacted Accuweather support, and all they sent me was a canned document on how GPS works. But I don't think this is a GPS problem....

I have the same problem with my Android app. I had to manually put in extra cities to monitor when i was out on vacation when i wanted any detailed information on them. An option to update by GPS location would have been helpful. Also an ability to disable certain alerts (such as the heat advisory alert which likes to make my phone beep about 2 hours after i go to sleep, waking me up practically every night would be nice.

My question from August (just after yours) has 700+ views and yours now 1400+ views and no answers. The people that own this site must not talk to the developers, etc. as there are very few if any posts here.....

good luck!
