Surprisingly sun came out around 4 pm yesterday, and woke up today to bright sunshine. GFS was completely wrong this time. I think I might have a decent weekend finally.

Dew point hit 71į yesterday (still at 69į), but only a few drops fell. I'm pretty sure more of my sweat hit the ground than rain. dry.gif

We had great weather here yesterday, a little humid but 83 deg put me in a summer mood, I stopped and bought more flowers, and planted all 72 of them (impatiens) after finishing those up I was going to grab the hose but I checked my phone and say a line of showers / T-storms coming, we got just under a 1/4" of rain from that line so I'm good to go.
I hoping for the same today, I see that showers / t-storms are forecasted anytime after 1pm, but I'm hoping for them to come after sunset. These forecasts seem really hit and miss lately, but if we always got the weather right, the we wouldn't be able complain to much.

Lancaster always a magnet for a storm. I'm still waiting for some rain to come up here after all the humidity we've had yet zero rainfall.

Man those were some crazy rains while driving over to my friends house it was coming down so hard it was just flowing from the grass areas onto the roads and roads were just giant puddles. An awesome lightning and thunder event down here too. Im just about done with storms need a little break feel like I have been dealing with them almost everyday while in the baltimore area and cant seem to get away from it up here too.

Maybe I can break that today Im in harrisburg for a random shift.

Maybe it looks like we have to distinct areas of low level convergence that will be the prim regions for something to pop. One is over the mountains into central and western PA should produce terrain induced convection over the next few hours and another that is, present with some convection, from about NW NJ down to just NW of Bmore and another smaller region in southern Delaware and southern MD that is most likely LP tracking trough so they may experience some nice rains later on.

I would watch the convection from NW NJ to NW of bmore potential to have training issues set up especially into MD where LP is relatively close by. Cape is there probably not as robust as yesterday was but PWATS at 2" means a good amount of rain potential to set up. I would really watch though MD for later on as we get possibly a nice rain shield that develops out of the blobs of precip today. Also southern PA especially York and Lanc since they have gotten quite a bit of rains lately.
